My name is Thomas Alex. I am currently working as an Embedded Systems Engineer at TIF Labs since 2020.

Presently, I reside in Bangalore for work, but I have spent most of my childhood in Dubai and did my undergrad in Instrumentation and Control Engineering at Manipal Institute of Technology in Manipal, Karnataka, India.

Although my title suggests that I deal in electronics and embedded coding, my work also involves various other fields and technologies from scripting automation and creating UI based applications using Python to being a part-time content creator on Youtube. All of these things are in addition to regular electronics, design and hardware engineering work along with small scale management and delegation work with new and fellow teammates.

During my off-hours, I partake myself to improve on the aforementioned skills and often try to learn new skills like Javascript, HTML/CSS (this website), React, or whatever interests me at the time, trying to make myself grow to be a venerable developer and engineer possessing the knowledge stack to contribute back to society in meaningful ways.

In my free time, I also enjoy reading and learning about anything science, astronomy, biology and being a general tech enthusiast nerd following intently and keeping up with cutting edge technologies.

Apart from all the technical prowess, during the weekends, I immensely enjoy spending time with good company, going for treks, adventure sports, unplanned activities and social gatherings, ensuring that there are many days worth remembering and cherishing.
